Currently the interface has a lot of options. This most work excellently for designers who are your early adopters, but as you grow towards your next 100k users. Specifically, by introducing pricing by customization in the designer.
- basically the idea is to price by value
- More value comes with greater customization
- But first, you need to capture new users
- There are so many other no-code solutions out there, like Squarespace, that have easier interfaces. Yours I like better because you actually learn how to code. But, perhaps you could use pricing to make the learning curve shorter to showcase that edge further!
- Currently, your account plans are priced by features, but these features do not appear in the designer.
- I suggest that the free tier is more about what you see in the designer. Why have all the options? Do people on the free tier actually use them? Why not instead simplify the interface so that beginners, with less familiarity can easily and quickly put together a website and publish it, so that more people are seen using Webflow and importantly you attract a new audience of people that want to learn how to code.
- If you make 1 site, you are more likely to come back and make more. With familiarity, you will invest more time into investigating you're fantastic explainer videos.
